Tammy Hembrow has revealed her plans to get her tattoos referencing ex-husband Matt Zukowski removed, one day after he dished on their relationship on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
ICYMI, Zukowski is one of multiple celebs schlepping it in the jungle for the reality show’s currently airing season, and he used a campfire moment in last night’s episode to lift the lid on his whirlwind marriage to Hembrow.
Among other tidbits, Zukowski revealed he and Hembrow were unable to have kids because he “shoots blanks”, adding that he discussed IVF with her before their divorce last year.
While she didn’t directly respond to being name-dropped in the episode, Hembrow took to the social media today with the news of her tattoo removal.
In a series of Instagram Stories, the influencer confirmed she’d be removing two tattooed references to Zukowski; the date of their wedding on her wrist and his name on her hip.
“No surprise there that I don’t really need that one anymore,” Hembrow said of the wrist tattoo, adding that “I also don’t need” Zukowski’s name.
Hembrow also said she was removing a large back tattoo, which has been “one of my most hated tattoos for years”.
She shared footage of the procedure in another post, but neither of the Zukowski tattoos were captured.
If you recall, the pair were open about getting matching tattoos throughout their relationship.
Zukowski has at least one reference to Hembrow tattooed on him, including the matching wedding date and the words “Always and forever” styled in her handwriting above his knee.
The Love Island star also famously removed a tattoo of his ex-girlfriend’s name from his butt cheek in the lead up to he and Hembrow’s wedding.
It’s not known whether Hembrow’s tattoo removal was in reaction to Zukowski’s I’m A Celeb moment, but he certainly spilled more on their romance than ever before.
“I was very much convinced things would get better once we were married and things would change, but it actually got a lot worse,” Zukowski told his campmates.
“I did love my ex-wife, and I did it out of hope that we could work on things and make it work,” he added.
Hembrow and Zukowski tied the knot in a lavish Byron Bay wedding in late 2024, but announced their separation just months later in June, 2025.
