Daphne, who has worked as a police officer, supported her husband as he toiled away for years before finally cracking the Test side aged 31.
‘I’m glad the hard work has paid off for him,’ she said.
The couple’s daughters join them on the cricketing circuit. ‘It’s a lovely moment to be a part of, you’d go down for breakfast in the morning and it would feel like there’s 40 kids running around,’ Scott said.

‘I thought it was pretty cool, but I was very confused, and I had a lot of questions after that! I didn’t know anything about cricket, so it was an eye-opener.’
