If your garbage bags are constantly falling into the bin, shoppers have discovered a ‘genius’ $3.75 item from The Reject Shop that can solve the frustrating problem.
Michael Jaimie, from Adelaide, shared a shopping haul where he picked up his favourite items, including the Bin Brite Bin Grippers.
The pack includes two reusable rubber bands – small and large – that help keep your bags securely in place around the rim of the bin.
‘I can already hear people say, “Why would you buy that?” but these are so helpful,’ Michael explained in a viral video.
‘It’s basically a really large elastic band that you can put on your bins to help keep the liner stay in properly. I have seriously always had to either tie my bag in a knot on the side of the bin or defy physics to try and keep my bin bags stay in place properly.
‘But oh my god, using these… they are absolutely genius.’
Michael said it’s one of the products he always repurchases from The Reject Shop because it works wonders for ‘keeping everything in place’ inside the bin.
‘So once you start filling the bag, they’re not going to be weighed down and then fall into the bin itself,’ he explained.

‘I use them at work as well – they are so handy. As they are an oversized elastic band, you don’t have to worry about them snapping or anything like that.
‘I haven’t noticed them stretching out too much either… This is now my third pack of them because I do find they are really helpful.’
