A $20 brown polka-dot top from Kmart is quickly becoming this season’s most talked-about wardrobe essential – with fashion lovers rushing to stores after one viral TikTok sent sales soaring.
The Off Shoulder Woven Top in Brown Dot has become an overnight sensation after content creator Hannah Rogers shared it in a recent styling video, declaring it the ultimate affordable piece for anyone wanting to look ‘put together’ without spending a fortune.
‘Who said looking put together has to cost big $$?’ she said in her clip, which has already racked up thousands of views.
‘Nail your basics, sprinkle in a seasonal trend or two, and suddenly you look like you’ve got it all sorted.’
The $20 blouse, made from a lightweight chiffon fabric, features an off-shoulder neckline, V-shaped back and wide ribbed hem with gathered detail, making it the kind of piece that looks far more expensive than its price tag suggests.
It has been praised for being both flattering and versatile as well.
The top is easy to dress up with a skirt and heels, or down with jeans and sandals for a more relaxed, off-duty vibe.
Adding to the frenzy, fans in Hannah’s comments were quick to declare the top a must-buy.

‘Wait, Kmart is in its slay era,’ one shopper wrote.
‘I couldn’t find my size in the polkadot top when I went – they only had plus size left, but I did get the little polka dot lace dress!’ another added.
Hannah replied that she ‘went the day they just put them out’, before adding that you can even ‘wear the dress as a top as well’.
She was, of course, referring to the new Satin Tie Mini Dress which retails for $25 and is made from the same flattering fabric and print.
The dress however, has a lower cut bust with a lace trim detail, which to some could be mistaken for a nightie but day-to-night fashion rules don’t seem to apply in 2025.
‘Is the first dress a nightie? No shade, I’ve totally worn pjs as clothes, but is it?’ one shopper asked on Kmart’s official Instagram page.
‘How cute are these,’ another added to a video of models showing off multiple new styles that have launched this October.
Sizes for both pieces range from six to 20, which is a major factor behind their popularity, as the inclusive sizing means they’re designed to flatter every body shape.

For now, most sizes of the top and satin slip dress remain available online, but, judging by the buzz, that may not be the case for long.
