The United States transferred the “Thaad” air defense system from the Emirates to Israel amid an escalation of tension with Iran, while the Pentagon seeks to obtain funding worth $ 3.5 billion to compensate for the intercept -consuming missiles during the last confrontation between Tehran and Tel Aviv.

The sources stated that the US Department of Defense seeks to obtain additional funding estimated at about $ 3.5 billion to compensate for the inventory of the objection missile that was consumed during the recent war between Iran and Israel.
It is worth noting that the American air defense system “Thaad” was deployed in the UAE in 2016, after Abu Dhabi became the first foreign country to obtain this advanced system according to a deal concluded in 2011.
