Barry O'Farrell and two other directors will return to the Wests Tigers board just 10 days after being axed from their duties at the club.
The Sydney Morning Herald has confirmed the backflip after an intervention from the NRL, who demanded the independent members be reinstated.
O'Farrell will return to his role as chairman for a third stint, while Annabelle Williams and Michelle McDowell will also return to the fold.

The fourth director who was axed, Charlie Viola, is unlikely to take up his seat again.
NRL officials relayed their concerns over the Holman Barnes Group during the week, while the Herald has confirmed V'landys met with all of the axed directors.
The board will now hold a majority HBG representation with five directors, including chair Dennis Burgess and Western Suburbs Magpies general manager Leo Epifania.
Balmain will have one board member to go along with the three independents.
The club have finished last in three of the last four seasons and are in the midst of the NRL's longest finals drought, spanning 15 years.
The news comes as the Tigers also look to extend head coach Benji Marshall until 2029 in a bid to create stability within the struggling organisation.
Shaun Mielekamp has been touted as a potential chief executive option in place of Shane Richardson, who walked out of the club this week.
