Selections based on a heavy track.
Race 1
1. Bello Cavallo is a Russian Revolution colt on debut and has been well fitted for this debut with four trials since December. He ran third in the latest of them at Rosehill and this looks a nice race for him to start his career in. 2. Marcantonio looked good in trials before debuting with a midfield Kensington track effort at Randwick. He should have benefitted from that and can run an improved race here. 3. Crocodile had a number of trials before debuting with a fifth at this track and he can lift on that effort here after that experience. 5. Pillow Fight is on debut and on the strength of her two recent trials she looks to have the talent to give this a shake.
How to play it: Bello Cavallo to win.
Race 2
1. Columbia Blue had two trials and won the second of them before debuting with a solid second at Kembla Grange behind Pierolite, which is a subsequent city winner. He’s drawn well here and looks to have the talent to make an impact. 4. Zing To Me has only had one start, running second at this track last August. She’s won a trial leading into this and is set to run well. 2. Harry’s Evidence is on debut and is a winner of a recent trial in preparation. 6. Adelina Falls ran fourth on debut at Taree and can get into the minor money.
How to play it: Columbia Blue to win.

Race 3
7. Diamond Show was second-up from a spell when a last-start second at Kembla Grange. She ran well enough when resuming on the Kensington track when fifth and this looks a nice race for her. 9. Murphilly had been just behind the placings before a last-start second at Wyong when not beaten far. 10. Reverberates ran fifth in the same event Diamond Show contested last time out, while 2. Paralia is a last-start Taree placegetter that can get into the minor money.
How to play it: Diamond Show to win.
Race 4
4. Rathoran followed some placings with a good win at Port Macquarie two starts ago and backed that up with a victory at Taree last time out. He’s racing in peak form and gets his chance from the inside gate here. 6. Celtic Sin resumed from a spell with an easy Wyong win and is one of the chances again. 3. Super Nui is also a last-start Wyong winner when scoring by a huge margin that warrants respect, while 1. Magicon won at Newcastle when last produced and should be in the finish again.
How to play it: Rathoran to win.

2. Oui Oui Oui did the job well when resuming from a spell to score a strong finishing win at Kembla Grange. He followed that up with a midfield effort when stepping up in grade in the Hawkesbury Guineas last time out. She’s drawn the inside gate here and is set to bounce back to winning form. 6. Empusa was a winner at this track two starts ago in maiden grade and then was down the track at Gosford. She can improve here. 5. Egypitian’s Reward is a last start Kembla Grange winner that warrants respect. 4. Exothrill is a last start winner at Wyong when doing the job well and gets another chance to perform well against this opposition.
How to play it: Oui Oui Oui to win.
Race 6
1. Inoue was placed in two of his three starts in his initial preparation and was then spelled. He ran well in a trial before resuming with a dominant Gosford victory and followed that up with another win at Kembla Grange when leading throughout. He’ll race on the pace again here and take a power of beating. 8. Russian Zarina hit the line well at good odds to score a win at this track when last produced and can make an impact again with a repeat of that. 9. Clifton Springs has been racing well in his recent runs and has the talent to figure in the finish again. 10. Titan Star has been placed at this track and the Acton track at Canberra last time out and another bold showing wouldn’t surprise.
How to play it: Inoue to win.
Race 7
10. Ocean Diva was third-up from a spell at this track last time out and did the job well to score a win when racing on the speed and fighting on strongly. She was narrowly beaten when second before that and looks set to run well in this. 8. Space Age led throughout to score a win at Wyong when resuming from a spell and only needs to repeat that effort to be hard to bold out here. 4. Maximum Dividend is a lightly raced import with a good record and has a Wyong maiden win and a Canterbury second in two of his three races since arriving in Sydney. 3. Hovland won at this track in December at his second start and should be fitter for a resuming run at Wyong.
How to play it: Ocean Diva each way.
Best Bets: Race 2 (1) Columbia Blue. Race 3 (7) Diamond Show.
Best Value: Race 7 (10) Ocean Diva.
