Travis Kelce oozes cool as he arrives at Arrowhead in bold leather outfit for Chiefs’ showdown with Raiders

Travis Kelce has been pictured arriving at Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs’ showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

Kelce oozed cool as he strolled into the stadium wearing sunglasses, a stylish black leather jacket over a grey sweatshirt and black trousers.

It remains to be seen whether his fiancee Taylor Swift will be cheering him on from his suite but the singer was present for last week’s impressive win over the Detroit Lions.

Chiefs fans and Swifties alike went wild for Kelce’s leather outfit on social media.

‘Taylor Swift approves that outfit,’ one fan posted, while another added: ‘Wow, in for this’.

Another commented: ‘Dude looks like a hitman’.

The Chiefs, whose record is 3-3 after six weeks, will be desperate to beat their AFC West rivals and gain some momentum after a mixed start to the season.

Kelce also has the opportunity to make history on Sunday and needs two touchdowns to tie Priest Holmes’ all-time Chiefs record.

The tight end, who has a catch in an NFL-leading 180 straight games, has enjoyed plenty of success against the Raiders in the past. He has amassed 1,582 yards and 12 touchdowns against them in 22 previous games.

The Chiefs will finally have wide receiver Rashee Rice back from his six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy when he caused a high-speed crash on a Dallas highway in March 2024.

He is also playing for the first time since tearing his ACL four games into last season, when Patrick Mahomes collided with him while trying to make a tackle following an interception.

One Chiefs player who will not be at Arrowhead on Sunday is offensive tackle Josh Simmons, whose whereabouts remain a mystery nearly a week after he missed the win over the Lions.

The offensive tackle was slated to play against Detroit on Sunday night but around five hours before kickoff, he was listed as ‘questionable’ for ‘personal’ reasons. Three hours later, the Chiefs downgraded Simmons to out.

After his team’s 30-17 win over the Lions, head coach Andy Reid said the first-round draft pick ‘was gone for personal reasons.’

‘We’ll see when he’s back,’ Reid said. ‘He’s got to take care of that then we’ll see where it goes from there. But we were aware of it.’

Mahomes, however, revealed he was surprised by Simmons’ absence. ‘I didn’t fully know, obviously we had walk-through around noon or 1pm and he wasn’t there, so I knew something was up.’

It has been claimed that Mahomes asked about Simmons, only to be told by coaches that they ‘didn’t know’ where he was.

Over recent days, precise details have remained under wraps with none of Mahomes, Reid or the Chiefs offering any explanation for his absence.

Simmons was missing from practice again on Thursday, a day after his head coach refused to comment on the saga.

Reid revealed only that Chiefs general manager Brett Veach is ‘handling everything.’ ‘We’ll leave it at that,’ he said. Simmons was not seen during the brief section of open practice.

Mahomes, meanwhile, was asked if he had spoken with Simmons. ‘I’ll keep conversations between us but I’m always praying for all my teammates,’ the quarterback said. ‘I’ll keep everything else private to us.’
