A young woman has been found dead inside an unit block in Mullumbimby.
Police were called to the unit on Poinciana Street in the NSW Northern Rivers region after reports of a domestic incident at 11.55pm on Friday.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 20s, was found dead inside.
She is yet to be identified.
A 29-year-old man was arrested and taken to Byron Bay Police Station.
Police established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
NSW police told Daily Mail shortly after 1.30pm on Saturday that inquiries were ongoing.
