Trump explodes as he claims Obama’s AG is leading secret Democrat plot to pack SCOTUS with 21 ‘radical left’ judges

Donald Trump has raged at former Attorney General Eric Holder’s desire to reform the Supreme Court, claiming the Democrat has a plan to pack it with 21 ‘radical left activist judges.’
The president commented on an edited clip of Holder speaking to liberal YouTube outlet MeidasTouch, where he said the Democrats should use any potential return to power on court reform.
‘Obama sycophant, the former Attorney General of the United States, who did so much to hurt our Country, and who weaponized the Obama Administration against the Republican Party (and ME!), Eric Holder (known as “FAST AND FURIOUS”) just gave a Speech where he emphatically stated, above all else, that Democrats will PACK the Supreme Court of the United States if they get the chance,’ Trump said on Truth Social Monday night.
Trump is referring to the ‘Fast and Furious’ scandal, a botched effort by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to track firearms across the Southwest border.
Trump continued: ‘The word is, he wants 21 Radical Left Activist Judges, not being satisfied with the heretofore 15 that they were seeking.’
In the interview, Holder makes no reference to any specific number of judges, though he does suggest that expanding the court and judicial term limits should be on the table if the Democrats take back Congress and the presidency in 2028.
‘It will be 21, they will destroy our Constitution, and there’s not a thing that the Republicans can do about it unless we TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, which will lead to an easy WIN of the Midterms, and an even easier WIN in the Presidential Election of 2028,’ Trump added.
The president reiterated his call for the Republican Party to eliminate the filibuster which requires legislation to get 60 votes to pass through the Senate rather than a simple majority.

The president posted an edited clip of an appearance by Holder on liberal YouTube outlet MeidasTouch where he discussed the Democrats using a potential return to power on court reform
‘Why would the Republicans even think about giving them this opportunity? The American People don’t want gridlock, they want their Leaders to GET THINGS DONE — TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, AND HAVE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FOUR YEARS IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY, BY FAR, WITH NOT EVEN THE HINT OF A SHUTDOWN OF OUR GREAT NATION ON JANUARY 30TH!’
Holder – who served as attorney general from 2009 to 2015 – made his comments on November 3, ahead of the ultimately successful Prop 50 ballot question in California and bigger-than-expected Democrat victories in the New Jersey and Virginia governors’ races.
‘I think the Supreme Court is a broken institution and its something that has to be, I think, a part of the national conversation in ’26 and ’28. What are we going to do with the Supreme Court?’
With a 6-3 Republican majority on the highest court in the land, Democrats like Holder want to change it, with the Constitution making no mention of how many justices the court can have.
‘I think that we have to think about, if there is a Democratic trifecta in 2028 – and I think the possibility of that is pretty good – Supreme Court reform is something that has to be considered.’
Holder said that court packing and term limits should be ‘a minimum’ of what Democrats do to the court, calling for ‘substantive reforms.’
‘Our institutions have failed us. The executive branch is in the process of failing us and has failed us. Congress has failed us. I think the Supreme Court has failed us,’ he said.
Congress would have to pass legislation to expand the court. The last expansion of the court was to the current nine justices in 1869.
Some Democrats introduced legislation in 2021 to expand it to 13 justices, while Joe Biden established a commission to look into expanding the Supreme Court during his time in office which ultimately ended up split on the matter.
The Daily Mail has reached out to a spokesperson for Holder for comment.
Trump has been egging on the Republican Party to get rid of the filibuster since the government was in the throes of a monthlong shutdown.
‘TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER!’ Trump wrote on his Truth Social app multiple times in November, one of several posts calling on Senate Republicans to circumvent the historic congressional practice requiring a two-thirds vote for significant legislation to pass.
If Senate Majority Leader John Thune and his fellow conservatives fail to get rid of it, next year’s midterm elections will derail the administration’s plans, Trump warned in another lengthy post.
‘The Democrats are far more likely to win the Midterms, and the next Presidential Election, if we don’t do the Termination of the Filibuster (The Nuclear Option!), because it will be impossible for Republicans to get Common Sense Policies done with these Crazed Democrat Lunatics being able to block everything by withholding their votes.’
Commonly referred to as the nuclear option, Senate Republicans could amend the current rules to lower the threshold from needing 60 votes to a simple majority.
However, longtime senators on both sides of the aisle have been wary of doing so because the lower voting threshold would inevitably benefit the other party once they take power in the future.

Trump sees it as something that could supercharge his policy agenda.
After calling to destroy the filibuster, Trump adds, ‘then, most importantly, pass every wonderful Republican policy that we have dreamt of, for years, but never gotten.’
‘We will get everything approved, like no Congress in history,’ he added.
Some of the many policy proposals included his various campaign promises, like election reforms, including more robust voter ID laws, as well as codifying restrictions on transgender sports into law.
Attempting to paint a dystopian Democratic vision if the nuclear option is not used to abolish the filibuster, the president also warned that Republicans may not only lose the next two election cycles, but the political landscape in the US might change irreversibly.
Trump warned that liberals would make Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., independent states with assuredly liberal congressional representation.
If the Republican-led Senate does lead the charge and abolishes the filibuster, it would serve as a watershed moment representing a dramatic change in the historic chamber’s procedure that would have impacts for generations.
