Trump hotel shooter’s extraordinary links to Diddy that PROVE viral conspiracy theory

When a shooter opened fire at Donald Trump’s Doral Miami resort in 2018, he was immediately dismissed as a mad man possessed by farfetched conspiracy theories.

And many of the gunman’s ramblings remain nonsensical.

But one can now be reexamined with fresh scrutiny.

‘I had sex with Cassie [Ventura] and Sean [Combs]. Basically, he would masturbate and tell me what to do to Cassie. I was like a sex slave. For them, that’s what I was,’  depleted Jonathan Oddi told police after being arrested following a shootout at the Florida hotel.

At the time, his comments were dismissed as the delusions of a mentally ill maniac.

But Daily Mail can now confirm Oddi did know Diddy – and was guarding a secret so scandalous that the rapper asked him to sign an NDA agreement to protect it.

The agreement is dated 2014 – four years before the Doral shooting – and ten years before Diddy’s life came crashing down with a federal indictment for sex trafficking.

Oddi told police in Doral that he signed the document in exchange for $5 million.

Daily Mail can confirm the NDA that both Oddi and Sean Combs signed in July 2014 – four years before the shooting at Trump Doral, and ten years before Diddy was criminally charged

Oddi claimed he was a 'sex slave' for Diddy, and was forced by the rapper into acts with his ex Cassie Ventura

‘He’s scared I will expose him,’ he said of the rapper.

‘My settlement put me in a box. Basically, I couldn’t talk because I was going to be sued. They kept following me,’ he said.

He also claimed to have turned over a tape to Diddy’s then lawyer, Mark Geragos. The contents of that alleged tape are unknown.

Now, Oddi’s former wife, Tonia Troutwine, tells Daily Mail how he unraveled after that agreement with Diddy, now on trial in Manhattan for a slew of sex trafficking crimes.

‘The date of that contract was around the same time as our divorce,’ Troutwine said.

‘I almost feel like he divorced me because he came to all this money and so I wouldn’t claim it.

‘But our lives were already going in different paths. I started feeling like a third wheel in someone else’s life rather than a wife.’

The pair had a mostly happy marriage, she said, between 2008 and 2014.

But as Oddi became more involved in the party and porn scene, his wife says they drifted apart.

What began as a job stripping at bachelorette parties turned into more a hardcore career in the adult film industry.

His ex-wife believes he met Diddy through work.

Although she has never met the Bad Boy mogul, Troutwine said it wasn’t uncommon for A-list celebs to pick up women and men at ultra-exclusive Star Island parties in Miami Beach.

Soon, the time he would spend with Troutwine became less and less as Oddi sunk deeper into the party life.

It was also around this time that he allegedly started partying with Combs and Ventura.

‘Diddy just has those radiating personalities and I can tell that he really enjoyed the attention, you know. He likes to be the king,’ Troutwine said. ‘Johnny would’ve played perfectly into that.

‘I can see where they might’ve started off a friendship because Johnny would’ve made him feel like a king.’

After she found out Oddi was having an affair with one of his co-stars, Troutwine said she decided it was time to get out of the marriage.

By August 2014, they had filed for divorce but still remained amicable with each other, she said.

‘He kept on insisting that we sign the divorce paperwork, which I thought was very odd how he wanted to get things going so quickly,’ Troutwine said.

‘It was only later that I found out he had signed this agreement [with Combs].’

In the divorce documents, Oddi claimed he was making $2,000 a month as a fitness trainer. He claimed to have a net worth of negative $1,800.

But less than a month after the filing, Oddi went on a property buying spree and bought up five properties over a two-month period for $765,000, according to court records.

The records indicate none of the properties were purchased with a mortgage, which suggests he paid all cash, according to a report by local NBC news.

From September 5, 2014 and ending on October 30, 2014, Oddi bought five properties that were otherwise headed for foreclosure.

The spending spree coincides with when he claims he received his NDA windfall from Diddy.

All of that abruptly came to an end after Oddi stormed into President Donald Trump’s National Doral Golf Club and exchanged gunfire with police in May 2018.

Investigators said Oddi carried an American flag into the lobby of the Miami golf resort and shouted about the president before allegedly shooting at officers, who shot him in the legs and arrested him.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office filed charges of attempted murder of law-enforcement officers, armed burglary and armed grand theft.

He is still awaiting trial and remains in a Florida jail.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Oddi’s attorney.

Troutwine pointed the timing of her former husband’s mental breakdown was just months before Ventura finally ended her decade on-again-off-again relationship with Combs.

‘I don’t think it’s a coincidence,’ she said. ‘So, if any of this is true — that P. Diddy abused Cassie or was being aggressive, Johnny definitely would’ve softened that situation and would’ve tolerated the abuse instead.

‘He would’ve tried to help the situation and not make Cassie feel bad about it.’

Troutwine said she has spoken to Oddi since his arrest and believes he had a mental break down before he went to the Doral golf course.

She said Oddi also was surprised his interrogation video with police has gone viral in the wake of the Diddy downfall.

‘I think he lost his mind for sure,’ Troutwine said. ‘I think he did have some issues and at that point he was struggling. A lot of people are able to hide mental issues.

‘Let’s just say he worked out his body more than what was going on inside his brain.’

Ventura filed a civil lawsuit against Combs in November 2023 where she claimed she was drugged, raped and ‘frequently beaten’ by her ex during their off-and-on 10-year relationship.

The complaint said Combs ‘forced Ms. Ventura to engage in sex acts with male sex workers while masturbating and filming the encounters.’

She is expected to testify at his trial in New York this month.

In a superseding indictment filed last month, federal prosecutors allege Combs forced and coerced his victims into ‘freak offs’ with male prostitutes.

‘Freak Offs occurred regularly, sometimes lasted multiple days, and often involved multiple commercial sex workers,’ prosecutors wrote in the criminal complaint.

‘Sometimes unbeknownst to the victims, Combs kept videos he filmed of victims engaging in sex acts with commercial sex workers. After Freak Offs, Combs and the victims typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use.’

Combs, who appeared in a Manhattan court this week for jury selection in his criminal case, has plead not guilty.

He has vehemently denied all the allegations. His defense team has said the sexual encounters described by prosecutors were consensual threesomes.
