Trump joins search for Savannah Guthrie’s missing mom by devoting full force of FBI: “God bless and protect Nancy”
President Donald Trump has joined the search for the mom of TODAY show host Savannah Guthrie after pledging to devote ‘all’ law enforcement to the cause.
Nancy, 84, vanished on Saturday evening after being dropped off at her Arizona property by her son-in-law Tommaso Cioni – who was the last person to see her.
Nancy had vanished after having dinner with her daughter on Saturday night, and was reported missing when she failed to show up for church the next morning.
As the search for Nancy reached day four, Trump posted on TruthSocial that he had spoken with Nancy’s daughter and TODAY journalist Savannah Guthrie.
‘I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her know that I am directing ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family’s, and Local Law Enforcement’s, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY,’ Trump wrote on Wednesday evening.
‘We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely. The prayers of our Nation are with her and her family. GOD BLESS AND PROTECT NANCY! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP.’
Cops said on Tuesday that they had turned the $1 million adobe-style house back over to the Guthrie family, but that all changed on Wednesday night after the arrival of federal law enforcement.
A pickup truck from the Pima County Sherriff’s Department arrived at Nancy’s home, along with two carloads of FBI investigators. The house has since been taped off, and agents were still inside as of 5.30pm local time.

Signs of a struggle can still be seen at her home, with her Ring doorbell removed and a splatter of blood by the entrance door.
The 84-year-old mother-of-three lives alone at the house in the affluent Catalina Foothills neighborhood, where authorities found her phone, wallet and car following her mysterious disappearance on January 31.
An Apple Watch was also found inside the property, which investigators say stopped syncing with her pacemaker at around 2am – suggesting she was taken from her home at around that time.
Officers are now looking into Savannah’s superfans who have piled her with gifts and mail before her mother was abducted, the Daily Mail revealed earlier on Wednesday.
Investigators specifically asked NBC whether there were any troubling fan interactions that could be relevant to the case, a senior source claimed.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department told TMZ it was looking at a trespassing case from January for a possible connection to the kidnapping.
A few weeks ago, an elderly man reportedly spotted the trespasser at his Tucson home, less than 10 minutes away from Nancy’s.
The sheriff’s department said it forwarded the case to the team investigating Nancy’s disappearance.

‘At this point, investigators have not identified a suspect or person of interest in this case,’ Sheriff Chris Nanos wrote.
‘Detectives continue to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Mrs. Guthrie.’
The sheriff admonished speculation claiming identify anyone as a person of interest, saying it is harmful to the investigation.
‘Detectives are working closely with the Guthrie family. While we appreciate the public’s concern, the sharing of unverified accusations or false information is irresponsible and does not assist the investigation,’ Nanos wrote.
No suspect has been identified and police insist there is no danger to the wider public. However, investigators have not ruled out that Nancy may have been targeted because she is the mother of the famous Today show host.
The Sheriff’s Department is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the disappearance.
