Trump launches furious attack on Minnesota ‘insurrectionists’ as DOJ subpoenas Tim Walz’s office

The Department of Justice has subpoenaed the offices of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey amid allegations of welfare fraud.
The FBI served the papers to ‘several officials’, including those working in the office of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellis.
The subpoenas come as Trump urged law enforcement to investigate the Democratic politicians in Minnesota, which has been gripped by protests after an ICE agent shot dead a woman on January 7.
‘How can you have a place with 10,000 criminals, how can you have a state?’ Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday.
The president branded the protesters ‘paid agitators, insurrectionists and troublemakers.’
