
At least two people are dead after a small plane crashed near Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth, setting 18-wheeler trucks ablaze and sending thick plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.
The Fort Worth Fire Department said the plane hit a series of 18-wheeler trucks and trailers about 1.30pm on Sunday.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and found two people dead nearby, authorities said.
Extraordinary footage showed black smoke filling the sky as motorists drove past the tragic scene.
At least several trucks and trailers were set alight by the crash.

The Federal Aviation Authority is on the scene and the National Transportation Safety Board is assisting in the investigation.
The fire is now under control, authorities said.
It remains unclear whether the plane originated from. The victims have not yet been identified.
