Urgent recall on popular yoghurt sold at Woolworths and Coles

A well-known range of coconut yoghurts have been pulled from the shelves across Australia due to the undeclared allergen of milk.

An urgent product recall has been issued for 110g Cocobella coconut yoghurt pouches in banana, mango and strawberry flavours.

Anyone who has a milk allergy or intolerance should not eat this product.

‘Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,’ the recall notice stated.

The products were sold at Woolworths stores in NSW, the ACT, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, the NT, and online.

They were also sold at independent retailers, including IGA in Queensland and Victoria.

The mango flavoured pouches were sold in Coles in NSW and Victoria.

The affected banana products have an expiry date of either September 12 or 13.

The strawberry range has an expiry date of September 12 while the mango ones are dated September 13.

Customers are urged to return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
