US Olympic star Mikaela Shiffrin shows off incredible six-pack… on her BACK

US Olympic star Mikaela Shiffrin has amazed fans with a photo of her ‘six-pack’… which is actually her ripped back muscles.

The ski superstar, 30, uploaded a clip of her lying face down on a lounger with her top rolled up high to reveal her bare back.

The World Cup champion then repeatedly tenses her muscles, creating a series of small bulges across her back.

In another movement, Shiffrin shows off other defined muscles that run along her spine, creating the image of a six-pack.

However, the alpine skier, who is considered the greatest of all time, revealed to Women’s Health magazine in May that she often experiences tension in this part of her body, despite it being so strong.

She said: ‘I try to keep my entire spine, segment by segment, as mobile and free as possible so that I can distribute the load across the entire spine and it is not concentrated in one area.’

The skiing star will soon be competing in the Winter Olympics, which is set to begin on Friday evening with a grand opening ceremony at the San Siro stadium in Milan.

The women’s competitions will be held in Cortina d’Ampezzo, where Shiffrin will compete in the Giant Slalom on February 15th and the Slalom on February 18th.

Before that, the combined event will take place on February 10th. This is the discipline in which Shiffrin, together with Breezy Johnson, won the World Championship title in Saalbach-Hinterglemm in 2025.

Shiffrin made her debut in Sochi 2014, becoming the youngest Olympic slalom champion.

Four years later, in PyeongChang, she added a gold, Giant Slalom, and a silver, individual combined, to her medal tally.

At Beijing 2022, Shiffrin competed in all six events on the Alpine skiing programme but failed to finish two events, ending up without a medal.

In Cortina, Shiffrin claimed her first World Cup Super-G win in 2019 and also secured three medals – including gold in the combined – at the 2021 World Championships.

It comes after the Colorado-born star crashed during a downhill event in November 2024, forcing her to miss several weeks of racing.

Shiffrin, who was chasing her 100th World Cup win, had to be stretchered off the slopes in Vermont after doing a flip and careening into the protective barriers during the Killington Cup.

She later revealed that she suffered a five-centimeter puncture wound to her hip area, which narrowly avoided her colon by one millimeter.

Shiffrin had also suffered a sprained MCL and tibiofibular ligament in her left knee after a downhill crash in January 2024.

While she returned from that crash two months after suffering the injuries, it still kept her out of Grand Slalom competition for the remainder of that season, as she only had time to train for the Slalom races.

Although she hasn’t revealed her full schedule for the 2026 Winter Olympics, Shiffrin is slated to compete in three disciplines, making her Olympic debut in the team event, where she is the reigning world champion along with teammate Breezy Johnson.

If she medals in all three events, the US star would join Janica Kostelić and Anja Pärson at the top of the all-time women’s medal list with six.
