UTA Announces 105 Promotions Across Company

UTA announced its latest round of promotions, with 105 employees boosted to new positions across 22 departments.

The promotions elevate colleagues across comedy touring, TV literary, creators, music, endorsements & voiceover, Klutch Sports Group, news, production arts, publishing, talent, speakers, theatre, entertainment marketing, finance & accounting, IQ, MediaLink, people, technology, foundation, ventures, brand studio, business affairs and communications. Among the promotions are 22 employees who were upped to agent and 7 who earned vice president titles. See the full list below.

“Our colleagues have demonstrated an unwavering dedication to our core values — putting clients first, collaborating at the highest level, acting with ambition and integrity, and always looking ahead,” said UTA CEO David Kramer, announcing the 2025 promoted class.

“I am especially proud of the fact that the majority of those promoted to agent began their careers in our Agent Training Program,” Kramer added. “This is a powerful affirmation of our long-standing commitment to developing talent from within and investing in the next generation of industry leaders.”

UTA is based in Los Angeles with offices across the U.S., as well as in London and Munich. UTA’s portfolio of companies includes Curtis Brown Group, the U.K. literary and talent agency; KLUTCH Sports Group, which focuses on empowering athletes on and off the field; ROOF, the Munich-based European football representation firm; and DBA, a top influencer management company.

Kramer assumed the role of CEO in June, succeeding longtime leader Jeremy Zimmer. Shortly after taking the reins, Kramer appeared on an episode of Variety’s “Strictly Business” podcast, recorded live at Cannes Lions. There, the executive discussed how the global talent agency is navigating the industry-wide dilemma of consolidation and contraction by diversifying into branding, marketing, consulting and the creator economy.

“The playground has expanded in so many different ways. That allows our people who work at UTA to try different things, to be challenged in a different way, to be ready for these crazy shifts we’ve seen in our business,” Kramer said. “More importantly, it allows our clients, who are more ambitious and more excited about trying different things than ever before, to work with a group of agents who are excited by all those opportunities and ambitions as well.”
