I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia came to a close with the big finale episode on Sunday night.
Concetta Caristo was crowned as the Queen of the Jungle, with the comedian beating NRL star Luke Bateman and actor Gary Sweet.
The Triple J radio star won the public vote and was rewarded with $100,000 in prize money for her chosen charity, Full Stop Australia.
‘I just want to make people happy, and I just want to be happy,’ Concetta said.
‘Like, how lucky am I, where I get to be with who I’m with, what I’m doing,’ she continued.
‘To me, I have to be positive. There’s so much to be grateful for, there’s so much to be excited about.’

While Concetta appeared happy with her win, many viewers tuning in at home were less than impressed with the episode.
With taping on the series already completed weeks ago, the finale was not live like earlier seasons.
Instead, three separate endings were filmed, with Luke and Gary also shooting scenes in which they were crowned as the winner.
Once the votes were counted, the actual winner’s pre-taped reaction was broadcast.
And that left some tuning in at home feeling cold, with many complaining Concetta’s win lacked emotion as a result.
‘Hard to feel any tension knowing it finished taping weeks ago and they shot separate winner endings for Luke, Concetta and Gary,’ wrote one person on X.
Another said: ‘Yay Concetta! I hate that they filmed three endings though, her initial reaction seemed fake. Bring back the live show.’
‘It’s far too late to engage an audience when every decision has been made without the viewers and alternate endings have already been filmed,’ one more posted.

Someone else commented: ‘She’s not crying. You can tell they’ve filmed three endings.’
Another sarcastically agreed: ‘Yeah, you can’t half tell it was a fake reveal and they filmed all three as winners.’
‘Please, Channel 10, if the show is returning next year, bring back public voting,’ begged one fan.
‘I get it’s cheaper to pre-record the series and and it’s been rated okay, but WE want to determine the eliminations, who participates in trials and final three!’
Someone else said: ‘Gary, Luke and Concetta all filmed a segment as though they had won and when the votes were counted, they just showed that clip.
‘Probably would have been too time-consuming to interview everyone as the Winner and the Runner Up. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMAT!’
