Was The Glambot Guy Booted From The Grammys 2026?

The 2026 Grammys are officially underway, which means all your fave musicians are walking the red carpet and taking part in the infamous Glambot. The high-speed camera photo booth has been a mainstay at major awards shows since 2016, but it went more viral than the actual celebs earlier this year thanks to director Cole Walliser.

ICYMI, “the Glambot guy” made headlines last month when fans accused Jennifer Lopez of being rude to him while posing for the Glambot at this year’s Golden Globes.

Walliser eventually posted a TikTok defending J-Lo, but it wasn’t long before fans accused him of being just as rude to people online. Old emails and DMs resurfaced on social media showing his “dismissive and curt” replies to potential clients enquiring about using the Glambot for their weddings, and the whole thing blew up from there.

Eventually, Walliser posted an apology video where he took responsibility for his words, “regardless of what [his] intent was”.

“I am sorry,” he said. “I’d like to think that I have grown a lot in the past seven years, and I always want to treat everybody with the respect that they deserve. But clearly, more could be done, and I can do better. And so that’s a thing that I want to focus on — improving and just working towards being better.”

Was Cole Walliser at the 2026 Grammys?

This then leads us to Monday, aka Grammys Day, where Walliser was expected to be running the Glambot for celebs like Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny. However, many fans have speculated that the Canadian filmmaker didn’t actually attend the event due to the recent backlash and intense public scrutiny.

TikTok creator Kristi Cook, aka Spill Sesh, posted a TikTok pointing out that Yungblud’s Glambot video features a brunette woman chatting with celebs and running the camera instead of Walliser.

PEDESTRIAN.TV has done some digging and discovered this is the same case for Rosé, Adrienne Bailon, Madison Beer and Victoria Monét, with a woman directing them all on how to pose, and Walliser nowhere to be seen.

He has also yet to post any content from the Grammys on his personal accounts or pop up on Getty, so it seems he may have skipped the event after all. INTERESTING!

Whether he’s there or not, though, you can bet all of the celebs will be on their best behaviour when interacting with the Glambot operator moving forward. Say what you want about J-Lo, but you can’t deny her impact on pop culture.

PEDESTRIAN.TV has contacted Cole Walliser for comment.
