UEFA Champions League Final moved to Wembley

The British editions of the Daily Star and The Mirror reported the possibility of the Champions League final moving from Saint Petersburg to Wembley in London due to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree recognizing the sovereignty of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the LNR. According to the source, the growing conflict between countries regarding this is the main reason for a possible change in the venue of the final match.

It is also reported that UEFA is closely monitoring the Ukraine crisis in order to devise a contingency plan, if necessary.

The final of the main European Club Championship will be held at Gazprom Arena on May 28, 2022.
