Two people were killed and 7 injured in an attack on an aircraft factory in Kyiv
Ukrainian authorities said that two people were killed and seven wounded after Russian forces attacked an aircraft factory and another was killed in the bombing of an apartment building.
The Antonov Aircraft Plant in Kyiv is the largest in Ukraine and is known for producing many of the world’s largest cargo planes.
The Kyiv city administration said that a major fire broke out in the factory after the attack.
As Ukrainian prosecutors said today, 90 children have been killed and more than 100 injured in Ukraine since the Russian invasion began on February 24, Reuters reported.
“The largest number of victims are in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Nikolaev and Zhytomyr regions,” a statement from the Prosecutor’s Office said.
So far, Reuters has not been able to confirm this information. Russia denies targeting civilians and says it is carrying out a “special operation” to disarm Ukraine.
