One dead, seven injured in Oklahoma shooting….
One person was killed and seven injured in a shooting in Oklahoma during a festival.
The shooting took place on the annual Memorial Day, which was attended by 1,500 people. According to eyewitnesses, a quarrel broke out at first, and then the shooting began.
“The suspect in the Taft shooting is in custody…Oklahoma FBI agents are investigating after eight people were shot at an outdoor festival in Taft, Oklahoma,” the local Bureau of Investigation said in a statement.
He added that all the victims were taken to hospitals, one of them a minor.
The office added that the suspect, Skylar Buckner, 26, turned himself in to the mayor’s office with a confession.
