Suge Knight warns Diddy ‘your life’s in danger’ in jailhouse call where he’s serving 28 years for death of Compton businessman

Imprisoned music executive Suge Knight has issued a warning to embattled hip-hop mogul Diddy his ‘life’s in danger’.

In an audio clip obtained by TMZ, Knight, who is currently serving a 28-year sentence in California state prison for voluntary manslaughter, ominously warned Diddy, who he still calls ‘Puffy,’ that there are people out there who are ‘going to get you if they can.’

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs saw his mansions in LA and Miami viciously raided this week by the feds as part of a larger sex-trafficking investigation that the rapper has called a ‘witch hunt.’

A litany of extremely damaging allegations have been made against Diddy in several civil lawsuits, though the mogul has not been arrested or charged with any crimes, despite the newly revealed involvement of the federal government.

Based on statements made by Suge in the freshly posted audio, which TMZ reports is an outtake from the ‘Collect Call’ podcast, the incarcerated hip-hop personality clearly believes things are headed one way for Diddy.

Suge Knight spoke about the situation Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently facing from state prison this week – offering one of his longtime rivals advice ahead of what he is predicting will be a prison stint

Combs' life may be in danger, according to Knight, who is serving a 28-year sentence in California state prison for manslaughter. 'Your life's in danger cause you know the secrets, who's involved in that little secret room you guys are participating in ... you know they're going to get you if they can,' he said

Knight said the accusations made against Diddy and the optics of the intense raids are altogether a bad look for the industry.

‘It’s a bad day for hip hop, for the culture,’ he said, referring specifically to how the public generally reacts to seeing a black man in handcuffs.

He encouraged his longtime rival to turn himself into the authorities, as he once did.

‘I turned myself in. Sometimes you got to face the music. That’s most of the time.’

He also made mysterious reference to a ‘secret room’ Diddy knows about that is connected to the potential threats on his life.

‘I’ll tell you what Puffy, your life’s in danger cause you know the secrets, who’s involved in that little secret room you guys are participating in … you know they’re going to get you if they can,’ said Knight.

He expressed sympathy and offered his prayers to Diddy’s kids, in particular King and Justin Combs, who were detained in handcuffs, though not arrested, as federal agents raided Combs’ Holmby Hills estate.

Knight also offered Diddy some friendly advice about his future prison moniker.

‘Do not do your time going by Brother Love. Brother Love is not a good code name for prison,’ he said.

In a recent episode of his prison podcast, TMZ reports that Knight went into a little more detail about his longstanding issues with Diddy.

At a party in Atlanta in 1995, Knight’s friend Big Jake was killed, leading to decades of animosity between Knight and Diddy.

The East Coast vs. West Coast rap wars also factors into the tense relationship between the two, reported the outlet.

This week, Combs’ homes were raided, pictures exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com showing several disheveled rooms, bedrooms turned over and drawers rifled through, as the rapper faces multiple allegations accusing him of sexual and physical abuse.

Two officials told AP the raids were part of an ongoing sex-trafficking investigation. They spoke on condition of anonymity and were not authorized to publicly discuss details of the investigation.

A source also told NBC three women and a man had been interviewed by federal officials in Manhattan over allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms.

A man accused of being Diddy’s drug mule was also arrested on Monday as authorities raided the mansions.

A lawyer representing a woman accusing Diddy of rape in the 1990s said of the raid: ‘Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.’

Tyrone Blackburn, an attorney for accusers Rodney Jones Jr. and Liza Gardner, greeted the news in a statement to Rolling Stone.

‘It’s about damn time,’ Blackburn said. ‘Sometimes justice delayed is not justice denied, so long as justice ultimately arrives.’

Aaron Dyer, an attorney for the rapper, broke Combs’ silence just over 24 hours after the Homeland Security investigation with a statement to DailyMail.com.

‘Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences.

‘There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,’ Dyer said.

‘Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities,’ he added.

‘Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.’

‘This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,’ Dyer continued.
