Thunderstorm warnings for Rafha, Saudi Arabia, until Thursday

Rain, sandstorms, and dust witnessed in Rafha Governorate and its centers. 

 

The General Directorate of Civil Defense called for caution, and the need to stay in safe places and stay away from places where floods accumulate. And water swamps and valleys, and do not swim in them as they are unsuitable places for that and constitute a danger, and adhere to the instructions announced through various media and social networking sites, regarding the continued thunderstorms in most regions of the Kingdom, until next Thursday.

 

She explained that the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that will lead to torrential rains, hail, and very fast descending winds that raise dust and dust, as well as the Riyadh region, the regions of Najran, Jazan, Medina, Hail, the northern and eastern borders, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Asir, Al-Baha, and Al-Qassim.

 

The National Center of Meteorology confirmed that the Kingdom’s regions are currently witnessing weather fluctuations accompanied by multiple phenomena of active winds, torrential rains, hail, and lack of horizontal visibility.

 

The official spokesman for the center, Hussein Muhammad Al-Qahtani, noted the need to be careful to follow weather reports and follow the instructions of the concerned authorities, especially during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday period for those who travel on highways, open areas, highlands and beaches, wishing everyone a safe holiday.
