Urgent.. Zamalek defeats Modern Future and advances to the Confederation semi-finals
The match between Zamalek and Modern Future ended in a positive draw with one goal for each team, in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup, currently being held at Cairo International Stadium.
The first goal of the match for the Modern Future team came in the 19th minute. After executing a direct corner kick by Joseph Nguem, it deceived goalkeeper Mohamed Awad.
In the 66th minute, Ahmed Hamdy equalized for Zamalek with a wonderful shot to the left of Future’s goalkeeper.
And the first leg was over. With Zamalek’s 2-1 victory last Sunday at Al Salam Stadium, Al-Abyad advanced to the semi-finals of the Confederation Championship, to meet the Ghanaian team Dreams.
