Kamala Harris says she has ‘had it’ with people who take their shoes off on flights and calls for a ‘Department of Grievances’ to deal with weird plane passengers

Vice President Kamala Harris tackled the problem of people taking their shoes off on planes in a recent podcast interview, joking she needed to create a ‘Department of Grievances’ in the federal government to handle the issue.

The vice president was asked about the issue during an appearance on the ‘I’ve Had It’ podcast, in a teaser for the interview shared on social media.

‘Oh God, had it. Completely,’ she said, bursting into laughter. ‘It’s awful and then if they take their shoes off and cross their legs so that their foot is just dangling right in front of you, it’s just… especially if they’re sockless!’

The full interview with Harris will air Tuesday.

As the second highest ranking U.S. government official, Harris promised to look into the issue.

‘We’ll look into that. We need a department of grievances,’ she said. ‘We have a lot of federal agencies, but not that one.’

The issue has always been a point of contention, but more plane passengers are complaining more about it on social media and even shaming people for removing their shoes on planes.

The ‘I’ve Had It’ podcast is hosted by former Bravo TV stars Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan.

The podcast features the two women and their guests sharing their unvarnished opinions about things they love to hate.
