The Mufti of the Republic congratulated the Egyptian people: Stick to the values that we have embraced since Ramadan
His Eminence Professor Dr. Shawqi Allam – the Mufti of the Republic – congratulated all the Egyptian people and the Arab and Islamic peoples on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, praying to God to grant everyone goodness, peace and security.
The Mufti of the Republic affirmed in his speech to the people Al-Masry on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr that Eid al-Fitr is a day of joy and happiness for God’s help to us in fasting the blessed month of Ramadan, and for us winning the divine award for our diligence in worshiping our Lord. The Almighty said: {Say, “By the grace of God and by His mercy; for in this let them rejoice.” It is better than what they gather.} And R. May God bless him and grant him peace And his family and peace be upon him: “The fasting person has two joys: when he breaks his fast, he rejoices in breaking his fast, and if he meets his Lord, he rejoices in his fast.”
The Mufti of the Republic added in his speech that Eid al-Fitr is the day of the grand prize. It was mentioned in the hadith: “When the morning after breaking the fast, the angels stood at the mouths of the roads and called: O community of Muslims, go to a merciful Lord who bestows goodness and rewards him abundantly. You were commanded to fast during the day, so you fasted and obeyed your Lord, so collect your rewards. When they prayed the Eid, he called. A caller from heaven: Return to your homes as adults, all your sins have been forgiven, and that day in heaven is called the Day of Reward.”
His Eminence the Mufti reminded all Muslims to work to embrace noble meanings and values. The virtue that we have learned and practiced throughout the blessed month of Ramadan always in our lives, until the intended meaning of the obligation of fasting during the month of Ramadan is achieved in us, as God Almighty said: {O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you, that you may become righteous} .
The Mufti of the Republic congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, wishing him continued health, wellness, success and prosperity, and congratulated the great Egyptian people, praying to God to bless Egypt with security, stability and unity of ranks so that we can cross Egypt to safety and We overcome all difficulties and hardships.
His Eminence the Mufti also extended his congratulations to all presidents, kings and princes of Arab and Islamic countries, praying to God Almighty to spread goodness, peace and security to all.
