Museums and archaeological sites open their doors to receive visitors during the days of Eid al-Fitr

Intensive preparations have been made by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to welcome Eid al-Fitr, during which millions flock to museums and archaeological sites in various governorates to celebrate the holiday. The Supreme Council of Antiquities has formed an operations room from various sectors to follow up on the progress of activities during the days of Eid al-Fitr.

 

 

Tourism and Antiquities: Formation of an operations room during the Eid al-Fitr holiday to follow up on the conditions of tourists

 

< p>The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities also formed an operations room composed of representatives of the Central Administration of Tourism Companies in the Ministry, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, starting today, Tuesday, until next Sunday, corresponding to April 14, in order to receive and discuss any complaints or violations received, whether from foreign tourists. Or Egyptian citizens during this period and overcoming any obstacles they may face, in addition to following up on the return movement of Egyptian pilgrims from Saudi territory and checking on them until they return safely.

 

 

< p>This comes as an affirmation of the supervisory and regulatory role played by the Ministry to control the tourism work system and its keenness to ensure the quality of services provided in order to preserve the safety of tourists and citizens. 

 

And for its part Ms. Samia Samy, Head of the Central Department of Tourism Companies at the Ministry, indicated that representatives of the Operations Room have been directed to work to quickly investigate and resolve complaints received from tourists and citizens, in addition to ensuring the commitment of all tourism companies to implement all notified tourism programs.

She added that the Ministry’s committees are constantly and closely following up on the procedures for the return of Egyptian pilgrims and ensuring their safe arrival to the homeland, through the operations room’s constant and continuous communication with the Ministry’s committees present at the airports.

 

 All complaints related to citizens and tourists are received through the unified government complaints portal of the Council of Ministers or through the hotline of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (19654), which works to receive all complaints and suggestions from visitors.
