Dubai, April 16 / WAM / During the “A Known Right” campaign, Beit Al Khair Society spent 48 million and 893 thousand and 824 dirhams, benefiting 19 thousand and 820 families and cases. It also distributed one million and 74 thousand and 670 iftar meals from which 35 thousand and 822 fasting people benefited daily during the holy month, bringing the number of The campaign’s beneficiaries are 1,94,490 needy families and individuals.
The campaign’s spending was distributed among several projects, most notably the Ramadan Meer Project, on which the association spent 5 million and 612 thousand and 700 dirhams, benefiting 4,098 families and cases, and the “Iftar for the Fasting Person” project, with a value of 10 million and 800 thousand dirhams.

The campaign distributed one million and 812 thousand dirhams of Zakat al-Fitr to 8,156 families and individuals. The support for the three projects was added to the cash aid distributed to the lowest-income national families on a monthly basis, which amounted to 4 million and 137 thousand and 300 dirhams, and 769 low-income national families benefited from it, in addition to 56 families who benefited. Humanitarian and community support occupied the largest part of Beit Al Khair’s giving during the “A Known Right” campaign, which provided emergency aid to relieve the distress and suffering of the most needy people, amounting to 25 million and 46 thousand and 87 dirhams, from which 6,677 families and individuals benefited, in addition to what was provided by the Al-Gharamin Project, which spent one million. And 330 thousand and 737 dirhams, of which the amount of 531 thousand and 463 dirhams was provided to support the “Hand of Good” initiative launched by “Emirates Al-Youm” newspaper in cooperation with the Rental Dispute Settlement Center in Dubai, bringing the number of beneficiary debtors to 64 defaulters and citizens who were released in cooperation with the penal and correctional institutions in the country.
