Dubai Airports advises travelers to use the metro to reach the airport

Dubai, April 16 / WAM / Dubai Airports advised travelers to allocate extra time to reach Dubai Airport and use the metro wherever possible, noting that the metro’s operating hours have been extended until 3 am.

Dubai Airports stated through its account on the “X” platform that operations were temporarily suspended at Dubai International Airport for 25 minutes, but have since resumed, pointing out the presence of water accumulations on the roads leading to the airport, and that expectations indicate that the unstable weather condition will continue until… tomorrow morning.

Dubai Airports reported in a post on the ‘X’ platform that, due to weather conditions, we are currently facing some delays in arriving and departing flights, and accordingly nine departing flights and eight arriving flights were canceled this morning, and three flights were diverted to other airports. ‏

Dubai Airports urged travelers to check the status of their flights with airlines.
