The Head of State Affairs sets the date for awarding the Al-Fanjari Endowment awards for the year 2024

The Honorable Counselor Musaad Abdul Maqsoud Al-Fakharani, Chairman of the State Lawsuits Authority, Superintendent of the Endowment of Counselor Dr. Muhammad Shawqi Al-Fanjari, in favor of the Award for Research in the Service of Dawah and Islamic Jurisprudence, decided to set the date for handing over the competition prizes to the winners for the current year 2024 next Monday, corresponding to April 29, 2024, at the headquarters of the Authority. State Issues, located at 42 Arab League Street, Mohandessin, Giza Governorate, at exactly twelve o’clock in the afternoon.

 

 

It is worth noting that the Supreme Endowment Committee The results of the competition were previously announced on April 1, 2024, and the following names of winners were announced:

 

First: On the topic: Climate changes in the balance of Islamic jurisprudence. The Supreme Committee of the Endowment decided the following: – The winner of the original prize, amounting to 10,000 pounds (ten thousand pounds), is: Asma Ahmed Ibrahim Faraj Allah – “Lecturer at the Faculty of Commerce – Business Administration – Al-Azhar University.

 

The two winners of the discretionary prize, amounting to 7,000 pounds (seven thousand pounds). For each winner, they are:

 

1- Dr. Marwa Fathi Al-Sayed Al-Baghdadi – Assistant Professor – Head of the Department of Economics and Public Finance – The Egyptian Institute of Alexandria Academy.

2-  Mahmoud Abdel Moez Abdel Rahman Sayed.

 

– Imam, preacher, and teacher.  

 

The winners of the incentive prize amounting to 5,000 pounds (five thousand pounds) For each winner, they are:

 

1- Dr. Hatem Mustafa Muhammad Abu Saeeda – Lecturer at the Faculty of Arabic Language – Al-Azhar University – Menoufia Branch.

2- Dr. Sayed Hassan Abdullah Hassan – Professor of Public Law – Faculty of Sharia and Law – Al-Azhar University – Assiut Branch.

3- Hassan Sayed Muhammad Hussein – Imam, preacher, and teacher.

 

4- Dr. Bassem Shehata Ali Al-Barbari.

– Lecturer at the Faculty of Islamic Studies.

– Al-Azhar University – Desouk Branch.

5- Dr. Masoud Abboud Abdel Moneim Orabi.

– Jurisprudence teacher Comparator at Al-Azhar University.

6- Dr. Adel Muhammad Abu Al-Haytham, chief imam of the Endowments – holds a doctorate in interpretation and Qur’anic sciences.  

 

Second: On the topic: Renewing the reformist advocacy discourse in the approach of Sheikh Al-Shaarawi.

 

The committee decided The highest award for the following endowment: – The winner of the original prize, amounting to 10,000 pounds (ten thousand pounds). He is: Dr. Hamada Rabie Abdel Hakim Abdel Rahim – Assistant Professor – Faculty of Arts – Minya University – Department of Islamic Studies. The winners of the discretionary prize amounting to 7,000 pounds (seven thousand pounds) For each winner, they are: 

 

1- Dr. Randa Muhammad Abdel Rahman Mahmoud – Head of Research at the Plant Protection Research Institute.

2- Dr. Mahmoud Ali Ali Ahmed Baraya – Lecturer at the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion and Da’wah in Mansoura – Al-Azhar University. Winners of the incentive prize of 5,000 pounds (five thousand pounds). For each winner, they are: 

 

1- Dr. Khalaf Muhammad Metwally Nassar – Assistant Professor – Contemporary Faith and Doctrines – at the Islamic University of Minnesota.​

2- Abrar Sayed Hassan Abdullah – holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Law.

3- Dr. Mohamed Fathi Farag Bayoumi – Professor at Menoufia University – Faculty of Science – Department of Zoology.

It is worth It is worth noting that the Supreme Committee for the Endowment of the late Counselor Dr. Muhammad Shawqi Al-Fanjari, in the interest of serving Islamic advocacy and jurisprudence, is headed by Counselor Musaad Abdul Maqsoud Al-Fakharani, Chairman of the State Lawsuits Authority, Superintendent of the Endowment, and the membership of Messrs.:

 5- Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Hashem, “Vice President of Al-Azhar University”.

 6- Counselor Muhammad Hassan Muhammad, “Deputy Chairman of the Authority – Secretary-General”.

 7- Counselor Sameh Sayed Muhammad, “Deputy Chairman of the Authority, Rapporteur of the Supreme Endowment Committee.”
