"Wham" Signs a cooperation agreement with TV "Brix"
Abu Dhabi, April 17 / WAM / The Emirates News Agency, WAM, signed a media cooperation and news exchange agreement with BRICS TV, the international network that includes partner media outlets in the BRICS countries.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi, Director General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), and His Excellency Jana Tolstikova, Executive Director of BRICS TV, during a meeting that took place via videoconferencing.
Under the agreement, the two parties will exchange daily news in different languages, images, and videos for the purpose of use and distribution on the platforms of the two parties and their partners around the world, in addition to using these materials in their news bulletins and distributing them to their various media outlets.
His Excellency Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi stressed the importance of signing this agreement with a large media institution such as BRICS TV, which would contribute to enhancing civilizational and cultural rapprochement between the UAE and the BRICS countries.
His Excellency said that this agreement would also contribute to consolidating the UAE’s strategy and its keenness on pluralism in supporting peace and development to achieve the well-being and prosperity of peoples and nations around the world, especially after the UAE’s accession to the BRICS group.
For her part, Her Excellency Zhanna Tolstikova stressed that BRICS TV was keen to strengthen media cooperation with the Emirates News Agency with the aim of benefiting from the economic, development and humanitarian activity of the UAE on the international scene as it is a pivotal center in global decision-making.
She expressed that BRICS TV welcomes participation in the World Media Congress to contribute to advancing international efforts, supporting global trends, and participating in creating an exceptional model of global media cooperation capable of advancing the process of sustainable development worldwide for a bright future for all peoples and societies.
