Al-Dahrawi receives the President of the International Karate Federation at Cairo Airport
Mohamed El-Dahrawy, President of the Egyptian Karate Federation, member of the Executive Office of the International and African Federations, and Vice President of the Arab Federation, received Antonio Spinos, President of the International Karate Federation, at Cairo International Airport.
Egypt is preparing to host the World Karate League Championship “Premier League” In the main indoor hall of Cairo International Stadium During the period from April 19 to 21.
About 381 male and female players representing 59 countries are participating in the tournament, as registration closed on April 4, and 26 players represent Egypt in the tournament. And a female player.
While in the Premier League there are the best 32 players in the international classification for each scale, and the tournament awards important points that improve the players’ global rankings, as the first-place player gets 1,200 points. It is among the qualifying tournaments for the 2025 World Championships in Cairo, and therefore the slogan of the International Federation of Premier League Championships has become “The Road to Cairo 2025”.
On another sideline, the Egyptian Karate Federation is organizing a conference Press tomorrow, Thursday, to announce that Egypt will host the 2025 World Karate Championship in a historic event for Egyptian karate, after organizing the World Championship in 1988.
The press conference will be held tomorrow, Thursday, in a Cairo hotel, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Antonio Spinius, President of the International Karate Federation, Engineer Yasser Idris, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, Oka Hiroshi, Japanese Ambassador to Cairo, Mohamed El-Dahrawy, President of the Egyptian Federation, and members of the Federation’s Board of Directors.
And he agreed. The International Karate Federation, headed by Antonio Spinius, agreed to hold the 2025 World Adult Singles Championship in Egypt, and the Egyptian Federation, headed by Mohamed El-Dahrawy, submitted a request to host the 2025 World Championship, which was unanimously approved by the members of the General Assembly, during the International Karate Federation Congress in October 2023.
