7 Walking Pads That’ll Slide Under Your Desk And Let You Hot Girl Walk While You Work

If you live on TikTok (as I do), you’ve probably seen the girlies rave about walking pads, and I’m not gonna lie — I really vibe with them. As someone who works from home three days a week and is homebody-adjacent, I really struggle to fit in enough steps during my day, especially when my smartwatch passive-aggressively reminds me to move or CLOSE YOUR RINGS.

Walking pads are the perfect solution to compensate for my less-than-ideal exercise routine. Not only can I stride as I do some admin work or listen to a meeting, but I also feel like it helps increase my productivity and focus. I’m a gal who gets distracted easily, so if my body is busy walking, my mind can focus on the task at hand. That’s not science, that’s just my constant need to be doing multiple things at once.
I can also whip out my walking pad whenever I’m watching TV or if I want to sneak in a light jog during my lunch break, which we love.
These under-desk treadmills are also much more affordable than full-sized treadmills, which can set you back over a grand or so. The only thing to keep in mind is that you may want to buy a standing desk to go with it if you want to comfortably use one while working. Otherwise, you’ll just be towering over your monitor, which isn’t exactly great for ol’ ergonomics… or coordination.
They’re also super easy to store in apartments or smaller homes. You can usually slide your mini treadmill under your desk, sofa or bed, or some even fold in half.
Now that we’re all itching to strut our stuff, let’s take a squiz at some of the best walking pads you can get your hands on RN.
