"Nationalize women" Organizes a symposium on financial inclusion for women who frequent the Council’s complaints office

Within the framework of the 16-day campaign of activities to eliminate violence against women, and within the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family, and the Presidential Initiative “Bedaya,” and in light of the “Tahwisha” digital savings and lending group projects, which are implemented by the National Council for Women in partnership with the Central Bank of Egypt. And the Commercial International Bank, within the Financial Inclusion Programme, the National Council for Women, represented by the Women’s Complaints Office, organized a symposium on inclusion

 

It targeted women who frequent the office, and Ahmed Gharib, Beheira Governorate Supervisor – Financial Inclusion, lectured during it.

 

The symposium included an introduction to the council and its powers, and an introduction to the digital savings and lending groups project and the “Tahwisha” program. Inclusion and financial education for women, how to achieve goals and create budgets, types and locations of providing loans, and the mechanism of work of the " “Tahwisha”   The “Meeza” payment card, and the role of financial facilitators in the Council.

 

It was also reviewed  The difference between a loan and financing, between a current account and a savings account, a deposit and a certificate, types of insurance, and the services provided by the Council’s Women’s Skills Development Center to women, including training and workshops in workshops and production units, which provide the opportunity to master a craft for every woman to generate income and achieve economic empowerment.< /p>
