Muslic only spent six months in Devon after replacing Wayne Rooney mid-season, but seemingly stated his desire to remain at the club post-season.

As such, Argyle are disappointed with his departure, having built many of their summer plans around him.

Everton trigger option to buy Charly Alcaraz permanently

Everton have triggered the option to make Charly Alcaraz a permanent signing for an undisclosed fee.

His loan from Brazilian side Flamengo concludes at the end of next month but the midfielder will now remain on Merseyside with a contract until 2027.

Alcaraz, who has played for Southampton and Juventus, impressed at Goodison during his initial spell, scoring two goals and providing three assists in 16 games.

Tottenham have confirmed that they will make Kevin Danso’s loan move permanent from RC Lens.

Fraser Forster, Sergio Reguilon and Alfie Whiteman, meanwhile, are being released when their contracts expire at the end of June.

Kyle Walker to return to Man City after Milan spell

AC Milan have opted not to take up their option to buy Kyle Walker after the Englishman’s six-month loan at the San Siro, according to Fabrizio Romano.

He will return to Man City but will need to find a new club immediately, with the right-back not expected to be on the plane bound for the United States for the Club World Cup.
