Tampa Bay Buccaneers set to sign new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater after Baker Mayfield scare
Veteran quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is set to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he makes a shock return to the NFL.
The 32-year-old spent last season working as a high school coach at Miami Northwestern.
But according to reports, Bridgewater is returning to the NFL and is meeting with the Bucs on Tuesday. It comes just days after Baker Mayfield suffered a worrying injury scare in practice.
The starter sustained a contusion on his throwing hand on Thursday, while Mayfield’s backup Michael Pratt has been dealing with a back problem.
