The Grand Mufti of the Republic receives the president of the Islamic Solidarity Association in Senegal to discuss the prospects for joint cooperation

Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat for the role and advisory bodies of the world, received Sheikh Muhammad Omar Anas, President of the Association & Nbsp; Islamic Solidarity in Senegal, within the framework of the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Islamic institutions in the African continent, and to expand the fields of scientific and advocacy partnership that contribute to consolidating moderate values and spreading enlightened thought. Islamic institutions, stressing that cooperation with active institutions in Africa represents a pivotal step towards facing intellectual challenges and building a new generation of scientifically and intellectually qualified religious leaders, noting that the Egyptian Ifta House is fully prepared to allocate specialized training programs for Senegalese imams, preachers and researchers, so that they can deal with reality issues and developments according to a discreet scientific curriculum, stressing that this is this Partnerships are not limited to training only, but also extend to cooperation in the field of research and scientific studies, and the exchange of experiences in the areas of combating intellectual extremism and the manufacture of a rational religious discourse that meets the needs of Muslim societies. And the international, stressing that its efforts in spreading the middle curriculum represents a role model in the Islamic world, explaining that the association is looking to translate this cooperation into practical projects in the field of training and capacity building, in a way that contributes to supporting Senegal’s efforts in consolidating the values of coexistence and enhancing the Islamic identity based on moderation.
