Mother left fighting for life and her two sons found with stab wounds in a Leura house as cops race to the scene

A mother has been left fighting for life and her two sons found with stabs wounds at a Blue Mountains house.

NSW Police were responding to reports of a concern for welfare when the trio were found at a property on Myall Avenue at Leura at about 7.30am on Sunday.

Two men, aged in their 40s, were found with stab wounds and rushed to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A woman, aged in her 60s, was found unconscious at the scene and taken to Blue Mountains District Hospital in a critical condition. 

A crime scene has been established with police launching an investigation, including whether self-harm was involved.

‘No further information is available at this stage,’ a NSW Police spokesman said.

One neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, said they had no idea what was going on when they heard the sounds of the sirens.
