President Sisi discusses with his Algerian counterpart in a telephone conversation to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries

President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi made a phone call with President Abdel Majid Taboun, President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, dealt with ways to continue strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in light of the preparation for the convening of the joint Supreme Committee scheduled for next month in Cairo, headed by the heads of the ministers. In various fields, it enhances the march of historical relations between the two brotherly peoples. Sisi’s efforts made by Egypt to end the war in Gaza, and start implementing the plan of US President Donald Trump, as well as the path of negotiations hosted by Egypt in Sharm El Sheikh between Hamas and the Israeli side with the participation of Qatar and the United States. He stressed the importance of investing the momentum resulting from the American plan and international confessions in the State of Palestine, and working to launch a peaceful political path that leads to a two -state solution in accordance with the decisions of international legitimacy. Congratulations on the occasion of the fifty -second anniversary of the glorious 6th of October victories, as the Algerian president congratulated Egypt with leadership, people and armed forces, praising the heroic role that embodied the will of the Arab nation. President Sisi expressed his appreciation for this generous gesture, confirming Egypt’s pride in the historical role played by the Algerian armed forces in the October War, to embody the depth of ties between the two countries and the unity of Arab destiny.
