President Sisi announces reaching a ceasefire agreement and ending the war in Gaza after two years of suffering
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced that an agreement had been reached for a ceasefire and an end to the war in Gaza after two years of suffering.
President El-Sisi said, in a blog post on his official account on the social networking site Facebook: “The world witnessed a historic moment that embodies the victory of the will for peace over the logic of war. From Sharm El-Sheikh, the land of peace and the cradle of dialogue and rapprochement, an agreement was reached for a ceasefire and an end to the war in Gaza two years after Suffering, according to the peace plan presented by President Trump, and under the auspices of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States of America.”
President Sisi added, “This agreement does not only turn the page on war, but rather opens the door of hope to the peoples of the region in a tomorrow where justice and stability prevail.”
