The Council of Ministers praises what was agreed upon in "Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit"

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, chaired today the weekly government meeting, at its headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. In order to discuss a number of topics and files.

 

At the beginning of the meeting, the Council of Ministers, headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, praised what was agreed upon at the “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit,” which was held on Monday, October 13, 2025, headed by both President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, Especially with regard to the importance of cooperation between parties of the international community; To provide all means to follow up on the implementation of the terms of the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement to end the war in Gaza, which was concluded on October 9, 2025, and mediated by Egypt, the United States, Qatar, and Turkey.

The Council of Ministers also praised the agreement on what was reached regarding stopping the war in Gaza in a comprehensive manner, completing the process of exchanging hostages and prisoners, the Israeli withdrawal, and the entry of humanitarian and relief aid into the Gaza Strip. Gaza. 

 

In this context, the Council of Ministers affirmed its support for all measures and steps taken by the Egyptian state under the leadership of the President of the Republic, within the framework of the tireless efforts to consolidate the path of peace in the Middle East, by ending the war in the Gaza Strip and rebuilding it, as well as reaching a political settlement to the Palestinian issue, also expressing its confidence in the steps that Egypt intends to take. To begin the process of consultation with the concerned parties, on ways and mechanisms for implementing the next stages of President Trump’s settlement plan, starting with issues related to governance, providing security, and the reconstruction of Gaza, and ending with the political path for the settlement.

In light of this, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, confirmed that the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit is considered one of the most important political events over the past years, which came to end the war that has been going on in the Gaza Strip since Two years.            

In this context, the Prime Minister congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the success of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit with its organizational activities that were praised by the whole world and were the focus of international public opinion. The summit showed Egypt in a distinguished way in bringing together all these leaders and leaders in order to establish peace in the region.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said: This summit and the terms of agreement it reached demonstrated the insightful vision of the political leadership, and in turn refuted all the claims and allegations that were made about the Egyptian position during the outbreak of the Gaza war crisis, despite the pivotal role that Egypt played, under the auspices of the president, in leading And coordinating humanitarian work efforts since the beginning of the crisis, and in mediation until the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement was reached.

 

The Prime Minister stressed the continuation of strenuous Egyptian efforts during the next phase, in coordination with the parties concerned, to implement mechanisms for the entry of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, as well as efforts to reconstruct the Strip, and Egypt will continue to cooperate with its regional and international partners; In order to implement this.

 

Then the Prime Minister then went on to talk about some of the activities that he carried out  The President during the past few days, including receiving   For senior officials of a number of international petroleum companies, he pointed out that the meetings witnessed a review and follow-up of the companies’ activities in Egypt, and their plans to expand and increase the volume of their business.

 

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said: The meetings witnessed the President confirming Egypt’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities, in a way that contributes to achieving the common interests of both sides, and expressing his aspiration for the establishment of these companies. By intensifying exploration and development activities in Egypt, which is what the government is also looking forward to, and we affirm our intention to provide all necessary facilities to contribute to achieving these goals. We also stress the government’s commitment to its program to pay the dues of foreign partners, in a way that strengthens the state’s plan in the field of exploration and increasing production rates during the coming period, in light of the availability of many opportunities to make discoveries. New.

 

 Dr. Mostafa Madbouly also indicated the continuation of field tours to follow up on the progress of work in the various projects being implemented in all regions of the Republic, noting his visit at the beginning of this week to Qalyubia Governorate, which included following up on the projects being implemented in the cities and centers of the governorate in all sectors: educational, health, industrial, as well as housing, Which serves a wide sector of different segments of citizens.  

At the same time, the Prime Minister pointed to the report recently issued by Standard & Poor’s, during which it raised Egypt’s rating to the highest rating in 7 years, to the B" level. " With a stable future outlook, stressing that this report strongly indicates the success of the economic reform program pursued by the state, and that the Egyptian government is implementing this program efficiently, stressing the government’s intention to continue working with unremitting efforts to implement this program, so that we can achieve the goals of the Egyptian state in this regard, and achieve a strong start for the national economy during the next stage.
