The opening session of the Senate, for the first regular session of the second legislative term, began today, Saturday.
The session was chaired by Representative Muhammad Abu Al-Ela, as the oldest member, while Representatives Muhammad Tariq Naseer and Ahmed Khaled, as the youngest members, assisted him.
At the beginning of the session, the decision of the President of the Republic calling the Council to convene to open the first regular session of the second legislative term, and the decision of the National Elections Authority regarding the results of the elections, were read out.
The members then began to take the constitutional oath; Signaling the start of their parliamentary duties.
