The firestorm of controversy surrounding David Harbour has deepened, with reports now emerging that his Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown accused him of “bullying and harassment” while working on the hit Netflix show.

Various outlets reported today that Brown — who plays Eleven opposite Harbour’s Jim Hopper — filed a formal complaint about the actor’s behaviour before filming started for the upcoming fifth and final season.
A source who spoke to the Daily Mail said Brown lodged “pages and pages” of accusations against Harbour, spurring an internal investigation into the matter that “went on for months”.
It reportedly resulted in Brown being accompanied by a representative while filming Stranger Things’ new season, which hits Netflix later this month.
The specific details of Harbour’s alleged behaviour, and the results of the investigation, are not yet known, but there is no suggestion the claims were about sexual impropriety.
Netflix reportedly refused to comment on the reports of the internal enquiry, which the source said “speaks volumes”.
“Netflix will never comment on an internal investigation, but the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes… Millions of fans around the world have been anticipating the [Stranger Things] finale.
“No one wants anything to take attention away from that,” the source claimed.
Neither party has officially addressed the reports, with the source’s claims remaining unconfirmed at the time of writing.
It comes soon after Harbour already endured a wave of negative headlines in the wake of West End Girl, the new album released by his ex-wife and pop star, Lily Allen.
While the album paints Harbour in a brutal light, with references to cheating and sex addiction, Allen was apparently supportive of Harbour when Brown allegedly filed the claims against him.
“Lily supported him throughout it all,” the source claimed. “It was a brutal time.”
The fallout from West End Girl saw Harbour’s supposed mistress come forward, as friends of both the actor and Allen shared their thoughts and multiple social media posts involving the pair resurfaced.
Stranger Things season five will be released in three parts, with the first batch of episodes landing on November 26 followed by three episodes on Christmas Day and the finale on New Year’s Eve.
