The Cultural Advisor at the Egyptian Embassy in Riyadh follows voting in the 2025 House of Representatives elections
Dr. Ahmed Fahim, Cultural Advisor at the Egyptian Embassy in Riyadh and member of the Youth Coordination of Parties and Politicians, followed the progress of the electoral process for Egyptians voting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the first day of Egyptians voting abroad in the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections.
The second phase of the House of Representatives elections will be held abroad over the course of Friday and Saturday, corresponding to the 21st and 22nd of November, inside 139 Egyptian embassies and consulates in 117 countries, while voting at home will begin on the 24th and 25th of this November, with the official result announced on the 2nd of December. In the event of a need for a runoff, voting will take place abroad on the 15th and 16th of December, and at home on the 17th and 18th of December. The same month, provided that the result of the run-off round will be announced on December 25 of next year.
The committees supervising the polling, counting, and counting of votes shall be composed of a sufficient number of members of the diplomatic and consular corps, and they shall be assisted by one or more principal secretaries working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who shall be appointed by a decision from the National Elections Authority.
Voting abroad begins from nine in the morning until nine in the evening according to the time of the country in which the poll is taking place, as indicated in the decision of the National Elections Authority.
