The year of our lord 2025 has well and truly been all about the Irwins. From Robert breaking the internet with his swoon-worthy Bonds photoshoot in April to the entire crew recently flying to the US to support his victorious stint on Dancing With The Stars, the close-knit fam are no strangers to a viral moment.

Irwin matriarch Terri recently opened up about her sweet relationship with Bindi and Robert and revealed that the trio have an informal agreement when it comes to posting on social media.
Describing herself as a “boomer”, she told Richard Wilkins and his son Christian on their podcast The Apple & The Tree that they “bounce off each other with everything” as a family.
“Like, none of us ever post on social media without running it past the other one, because sometimes there’s some dumb thing that I’ve missed,” she said.
“Or as a boomer, I say everything wrong. So they’ll go, ‘Oh, you can’t do that with your hands, it looks like a gang sign’, and I’m like, ‘Oh, I didn’t know that’.
Terri, who joined Instagram in 2023, added that the approval process works both ways and Robert and Bindi will often ask her for advice.
“It’s nice when your kids still come to you and say, ‘What about this?’. It’s very nice,” she remarked.

Elsewhere in the chat, Terri admitted she purposely raised her kids to be comfortable both in front of the camera and when talking to a large group of people.
“If you can do that, I think you can do anything,” she remarked.
“They’re amazingly good kids. I’m so blessed, because we are very close as a family.”
Although Dancing With The Stars is done and dusted, Irwin mania is set to continue for the next couple of months as Channel 10 rolls out promos for the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Robert will return to co-host the new season alongside Julia Morris from Sunday, January 18, with the star-studded cast already being teased on social media.
While yes, I’m excited for Robert to return to screens, I’m hoping for a Terri takeover in 2026 and crossing my fingers that she will hit the dance floor on Dancing With The Stars to continue the Irwin legacy.
