Cheers to Cheltenham! Glamorous racegoers in fur-trimmed coats and statement hats celebrate their wins and raise mini bottles of champagne to Gold Cup Day

Glamorous racegoers dressed in flamboyant headgear, fur coats and thigh-skimming outfits have been spotted celebrating their wins and raising their drinks to the finale of the festival, Gold Cup Day.
Not only were the cheerful revellers having a joyous time – they also appeared determined to go all out for the final day of the annual occasion.
Alongside classic spectator attire – including fur-trimmed coats, tweed suits and statement hats galore – there were plenty of racegoers determined to get themselves noticed in the style stakes.
The last day of the four-day race meet, which originated in 1860, also saw spectators donning bright and bold colours in the sea of tweed and tartan.
Leading the royals on Friday was Zara Tindall; the 44-year-old, who also attended earlier this week, cut an elegant figure in a crimson coat, teamed with brown leather boots. Princess Anne’s daughter was accompanied by her husband, Mike Tindall.
Also in attendance was Queen Elizabeth’s oldest grandchild, Peter Philipps, and his fiancée, Harriet Spearling, who cut a chic figure in a £2,550 Winchester Coat Dress from Suzannah London.
That Friday feeling! It’s Gold Cup day at Cheltenham – and eager revellers were determined to go all out, donning elegant ensembles and high heels to witness the festival’s spectacular grand finale

There was a healthy turnout of famous faces spotted on Friday, too, including former Love Island star Gemma Owen, Made in Chelsea alum Georgia Toffolo, and former model Jodie Kidd.
Cotswolds style star Jade Holland Cooper took time out from running her multi-million-pound luxury fashion empire, Holland Cooper, to observe the races, arriving alongside Tommy Fury.
Cooper has looked every inch the style star on every occasion this week, dripping in floor-length tweed, dark-toned tartan, and statement hats.
Standout coats, elegant knee-high boots and excellent hats have become part of her image and the styling inspiration behind her brand’s country-urban aesthetic.
And Friday was also all about fashion for the run-of-the-mill racing set as well, with the event witnessing revellers turn out in all kinds of headgear, including one man who arrived in an oversized, Russian-style fur hat.
While some wrapped up to protect themselves from the March chill, others took a different approach and bared their legs for the jam-packed day of racing events.
The Gold Cup, run over three miles and two-and-a-half furlongs, is one of the most prestigious events in the jumps racing calendar.
This year’s festival has witnessed a dazzling array of ensembles and saw the return of Ladies Day.

But now the decades-old title made a triumphant comeback, inviting female attendees to arrive in their finest ensembles.
The Gold Cup Day includes a jam-packed day of events, with seven races including the biggest of the lot: the Boodles Gold Cup.
The Jockey Club website reads: ‘Gold Cup Day is the grand finale where legends are made, and dreams are realised. Nothing feels like the tension in the air as the iconic Cheltenham Gold Cup race draws near – a contest that has crowned the greatest champions in jump racing history.
‘Today, the stakes are at their highest. The roar of the crowd, the power of the horses, and the intensity of the racing all combine for an unforgettable spectacle.
‘With a lineup of other top-tier races like the JCB Triumph Hurdle and the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle, Gold Cup Day is a relentless parade of top-class action.’
