A remarkable turnout in the Egyptian community in Jordan voting after the end of working hours

The Egyptian Embassy in the Jordanian capital, Amman, witnessed, on Monday evening, a remarkable turnout from members of the Egyptian community in Jordan, following the end of the official work period, as voters flocked at a calm pace to the embassy headquarters to cast their votes in the House of Representatives elections in the 30 re-voted districts.

 

Ambassador Khaled Al-Abyad, Egyptian Ambassador to Jordan and Chairman of the Electoral Commission, confirmed – in a statement – the continuation of work. Inside the committee until the specified closing date, while providing all necessary facilities to voters to ensure that the process goes smoothly.

The Egyptian Embassy in Jordan had completed all preparations for receiving members of the Egyptian community in the Kingdom to cast their votes in the House of Representatives elections, as Egyptians in Jordan cast their votes over a period of two days, in accordance with the procedures regulating elections for Egyptians abroad, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Embassy in Amman, and at the Consulate headquarters in Aqaba, using an Egyptian passport. Valid or original national ID card.
