Abbie Chatfield has landed herself in hot water again after making yet another ‘controversial’ statement online.
The podcaster took to Instagram on Saturday to stand her ground after being slammed for saying she ‘loves abortion’.
She explained that the reason she ‘loves abortion’ is because ‘it literally saves the lives of pregnant people’.
‘People in the comments said that I shouldn’t say I love abortion. I should say that I tolerate abortion. Or I support someone’s choice to have an abortion,’ she said.
‘But the reality is, I love abortion. So, first of all, don’t tell me what to say.
‘But I also have reasons to love abortion. And I think, if you’re pro-choice, you should love the medical procedure of having an abortion.’

‘Too far Abbie. Yes, abortion can be a life saving procedure and is absolutely the choice that women should be able to make without judgement or hindrance but it’s also a painful choice for a lot of women and not something to *love*,’ one person wrote.

‘Absolutely disgusting,’ one follower simply wrote.
‘Couldn’t disagree more. Abortions are the termination of a life,’ another said.
‘Whilst some need it as a life saving procedure, most use it because they want to escape the consequences of their actions, being pro-choice absolutely does not require you to ‘love abortions’. Go touch some grass Abbie.’

It comes after Abbie faced major backlash when she declared she ‘hated’ conservative influencer Charlie Kirk just hours after he was shot dead earlier this month.
‘Even though I hate Charlie Kirk this is bad for everyone to be honest,’ she wrote on Instagram following the assassination.
‘The right (and possibly the left) will become more violent in replacement of actual democracy. He will be martyred. They won’t see that this is BECAUSE of right-wing views on gun control that this could even happen.
‘It will cause tensions to rise and drive people further apart than we already are. If this is the beginning, then what’s to come?’
Following her statements, Abbie revealed she was living in fear and suffered a ‘severe mental health episode’ after being deluged with death threats.
