Ambassador Mohamed Sufyan Barah, the Algerian ambassador to Egypt and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States, confirmed that the campaigns against Egypt because of the Palestinian issue are malicious and political campaigns. Barah said, in statements to the Middle East News Agency, on the sidelines of a meeting to introduce the African Blind Forum program that will be held in Algeria from 4 to 10 September, that Egypt’s solidarity and permanent support for a state and people of the Palestinian cause is not doubt, stressing that Algeria rejects and condemns the malicious campaigns targeting Egypt.

Barah stressed that there is cooperation between Egypt and Algeria regarding the Libyan file, with the aim of upholding the interests of the brotherly Libyan people and preserving their capabilities and properties, and achieving compatibility between all Libyan parties, under the supervision and support of the United Nations, which leads to ending the division and moving forward with the political process in Libya towards uniting institutions and holding parliamentary and presidential elections in conjunction.
